BUSINESS RESOURCES
Funding your business.
These resources concern funding for your business. They are separate from paying for a JMP project and are not confirmed JMP lending partnerships. Each provider decides eligibility, permitted uses and terms. Resources reviewed October 6, 2026.
Invoice factoring
For businesses with eligible unpaid customer invoices. A factor purchases approved receivables and advances part of their value, with fees deducted. Eligibility depends on the invoices, customers and provider. Recourse agreements may require repayment if a customer does not pay. This is not funding for a startup with no invoices.

Kiva U.S. advertises loans of $1,000–$15,000 at 0% interest with no fees or collateral. Eligibility and fundraising requirements apply. This is a crowdfunding process, not instant checkout financing.
Kiva U.S. application and eligibilityBusiness loans and lines of credit
For eligible businesses seeking working capital. Credit, revenue, time in business and guarantee requirements vary. For example, Bank of America's published unsecured term-loan criteria include two years under current ownership and at least $100,000 annual revenue.
Bank of America: business financingEquipment loans or leases
For qualifying equipment purchases. This route is generally tied to equipment rather than payment for a consulting package. Requirements and costs vary by provider.
Bank of America: equipment financingBusiness cards and supplier terms
An existing approved card may help cover permitted business purchases; interest and credit terms apply. Supplier accounts can support eligible purchases from that supplier. Neither guarantees startup funding or payment eligibility for JMP services.
